The Redmond based software/ hardware giant is all set to recall the products that have displayed this inflammable flaw and avoid potential lawsuits before a tragedy takes place. The devices sold before July 2015 in USA and Canada and even outside USA and Canada could be affected with the issue. The tech giant claims that the faulty power cords can overheat if they are, “wound too tightly, twisted or pinched over an extended period of time.”

While talking to the media a company representative says that some Surface Pro customers have experienced this issue and a recall has been put in place to solve the problem. Further details will be revealed soon about the free replacement of the customers with faulty power cords. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 users who have bought the device after the above mentioned dates have no reason to worry and can continue using their hybrid laptops. If you have apprehensions about your Surface Pro device then check in with the local Microsoft dealer today.
