This is the best thing to have happened to the tablet market. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 with Core i5 Haswell processor will be sold out in USA

As expected, Microsoft has brought out its second generation Windows 8 tablets at its Sept. 23 media event in New York. Surface Pro 2 is the new Intel-based Windows 8 tablet PC. Consistent with the rumors, the Pro 2 is a more powerful, freshly looking and energy-efficient tablet. In many areas, it has attainted further strength to compete with the likes of Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and more.

The second edition Surface Pro 2 sports a 10.6-inch display and it packs a number of hardware upgrades and other features. It utilizes Intel’s brand new Core i5 Haswell processor, which, according to Microsoft, makes the tablet 20 percent faster in CPU performance than its original model. Also it can add to the graphics performance of the device by 50 percent.

Enhanced battery life is another unique feature. There were continuous complaints over the less battery life of Surface Pro. Solving the issue, the company has improved battery life of the new Surface Pro 2 up to 60%. If this claim is true, it might be a great advantage for Surface Pro 2, and many more customers will start loving the gadget.

Similar to Surface Pro, its new version also highlights a digitizer pen. Moreover, Microsoft has introduced a dual-stage kickstand, which would superbly replace the limited-use kickstand that was bundled with the first generation Surface Pro tablet. A lot of other advances and improvements are added to the second Surface Pro 2 upgrade.

Aesthetically speaking, Surface Pro 2 looks almost like its original model. Apple has maintained the same magnesium alloy, dark finish and VaporMg casing to design the second edition Surface Pro. Also does the company offer optional covers for the tablet, meaning that you get more options apart from the last year Type Cover and Touch Cover.
