Rumors about the all new Microsoft Surface Phone have been spreading for the last several months. Many people were pretty sure that this ‘incredibly’ great smartphone from Microsoft will land in markets before the end of the year 2015.
Now the rumors seem to have taken a serious turn and tech analysts seem to be sure that the launch of the Surface Phone is merely months away. Nonetheless we are yet to hear anything from the horse’s mouth.
Microsoft has kept a studied silence on the issue thus far, though the company has slowed the launch of Lumia handsets.
There are reasons to believe that Microsoft wants to make the same sort of impact with its Surface Phone that its Surface Pro tablets have made in the tablet market. This means you can expect the tech giant to come out with top of the line handsets with impeccable specs. Reports claimed that the Surface Phone would be almost a phablet and would come loaded with some of the most powerful features seen inside a mobile phone. It is likely that the phone would sport 8GB of RAM and 500GB of internal storage.
While the handset will be a dream come true for many a Windows fans across the world, it will be the best suited for enterprises. It is however notable that Microsoft has still not made any official announcement regarding the launch of the Surface phone. Nonetheless recently Chris Capossela, the Microsoft CMO, said “a spiritual equivalent” of the surface series of devices was needed in the Microsoft Mobiles devices.
