Microsoft Surface Book is the best tablet of 2015 despite some issues
Microsoft’s two newly launched machines Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book were greeted with great enthusiasm by tech mavens across the world. Both, the tablet and the convertible laptop were thought to be works of art that were praised by users and analysts alike.
Nonetheless there have been many complaints about the two products as end users started buying the two machines in large number. Though the number of people going for the two machines haven’t gone down as yet, the complainants have become shrill and voicing their indignations on top of their voices.
There is no denying the fact that despite the issues, the two machines have been hot selling devices in the market. Though the complaints began sometimes after the launch of the two products from Redmond based tech giant, the issues made some people change their minds. Some early buyers reported a variety of issues, including screen flickering, system instability and power problems. Those concerns prompted Microsoft to release several firmware and software updates within weeks, which helped with some issues.
In the absence of these issues, most of which have been solved, Surface pro 4 would have broken many sale records. Later the company issued an apology from the team responsible for the hardware. Released on behalf of the Surface team, a post on the community section of Microsoft’s Answers site makes reference to the “less-than-perfect experience†some users have reported with the recently released Surface Book and Surface Pro 4.
Later a Microsoft spokesperson told a tech blog, “We are focused on delivering a great experience to every Surface customer…We know a small set of Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 customers are experiencing issues and addressing that is a top priority for us. We have dedicated engineering teams working to get updates and fixes out as quickly as possible and we will continue to use our Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 support forums to share new information directly with our customers as it becomes available.”
