Microsoft Lumia 650 to come with Windows 10 Mobile out of box: update
If you are awaiting the arrival of Windows 10 Mobile update on your handset and you seem to be missing it, Microsoft is launching a new Windows 10 Mobile handset in the market. While there are already three handsets running on the latest Windows OS version, the new device is going to be an attractive proposition for many people who want to go for an entry level Windows handset.
There are now reports about the pricing of the forthcoming Microsoft handset becoming available. The handset will come with five-inch, 720 x 1280 LCD, along with the same 1GB of RAM and eight-megapixel rear camera. Moreover, it features the same quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 system-on-chip as the 550 and 2000mAh battery.
There are reasons to believe that this may be the last handset from Lumia staple. A report in Venture Beat says, “All in all, the 650 feels a lot like what it may well end up being: one of the last Lumia handsets as Microsoft potentially winds down the brand in favor of next-generation devices designed and built by the company’s successful Surface division. It’s an unfortunate situation for Lumia and former Nokia fans, and an especially ugly development for former Nokia employees, scores of whom have already been laid off following the disastrous Devices and Services division acquisitionâ€.
In the meantime pricing of the Lumia 650 was revealed by German site WinFuture. The website claims that Lumia 650 will go on sale in the country at O2 and will cost €219 ($238) without a contract and could be available at an even lower price on a 2-year contract with the carrier.
