Microsoft Band 2 launch may be very close. All indications suggest that the Redmond based tech giant will introduce the next generation of its very successful band in the market in the first week of October. It is no secret that the company is holding a much publicized event on the 6th of October and that it will be launching around 6 new products including Windows 10 smartphones, tablet(s) and a couple of other products. So the Microsoft fans are quite excited as things look enticing for them. Microsoft’s first generation wearable Band was a huge hit in the market around the world. Wearable’s sale in United States was more than encouraging and this is the reason that the whole world seems to be talking about it at the moment. Despite some of its shortcomings, the Band was more useful than most of the wearable already available in the market. Now as the teach giant is preparing to showcase its new wearable Microsoft Band 2.0, and the excitement is building up. The leaked images that look as good as officially released images make us believe that the next gen wearable will come with curved design. There were many complaints from Band 1.0 fans saying that the first version of the Band didn’t come with a curved display, it was not very comfortable wearing it in hands. Most disappointed were women who were not very happy and continued to complain. Now as the company seems to have rectified this issue, people will have one more reason to go for the wearable from the Redmond company. Microsoft Insider, a Spanish tech website has come out with several images of the forthcoming wearable from Redmond company claiming that these were authentic images. There is no denying the fact that the latest images make the new wearable or Microsoft Band 2.0 make look all the more attractive than the previous Band, with a curved design. The company seems to have also done some other changes and tweaks in the Band 2.0. Another improvement from the Redmond company is the fact that the battery position is now underside of the color display, instead of being on the side. The rumors suggest that Band 2.0 will be revealed with many new sensors, along with all the sensors present in the Band 1.0. Band 2.0 is going to be more sensor rich. The new sensors in the Fitness Band includes an Optical heart rate monitor, an Accelerometer/Gyrometer, GPS, a Microphone, an Ambient Light Sensor, a Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) sensors and a UV sensor among others. So things are actually looking a lot more exciting in this aspect than many of us thought.
