One of the best Formula 1 drivers reportedly hurt him badly. Michael Schumacher ski accident update suggest that racer is out of danger [VIDEO]

Michael Schumacher has seriously injured himself while skiing in France. The incident has sent shockwaves among his fans across the world. He is one of the most popular racers across the world and has won seven Formula 1 World Championships. When he was taken to the hospital he was not conscious but when the last reports and updates came from hospital he had regained consciousness. Thankfully his injuries were not life threatening.

There were reports that the former Formula 1 champion might have faced further problem had he not got immediate medical attention. But thankfully the champion was provided immediate medical assistance and he was flown to a super specialty hospital in France. Now his fans take sighs of relief as doctors have announced that the 44 year old racer was finally out of danger.

Meribel is one of the most popular skiing resorts in Europe, particularly in France. A report says that “53 ski-lifts link 150km of high-quality pistes, but as revealed by Monsieur Gernignon-Lecomte earlier, Schumacher sustained his injuries while skiing off-piste.”

Now more details are coming out about the accident that threatened the life of the racer. Christophe Gernignon-Lecomte, director of the Meribel resort was reported by media as saying, “He was shocked, a little shaken but conscious. It may be a head injury but it is not very serious…He was wearing a helmet and banged (his head) against a rock”. One of the greatest racers in the world history, Michael Schumacher won his last world title almost a decade ago.
