Where is Boeing 777-200 carrying 239 passengers? Since the report surfaced about its disappearance, the news has not only grabbed headlines but search and rescue crews of many countries are trying to locate its whereabouts. Worried relatives and people have jumped on the social media sending messages and posting news link on their Facebook pages all over the world.

As it has become viral online, experts are trying to find answer to how the Malaysia Airlines went missing, It is understood that on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, the airline lost contact with Subang Air Traffic Control at 2:40 a.m., two hours into the flight. And when the plane that was carrying passengers from several countries, including three Americans, did not land in Beijing at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, officers got alarmed and the operation hunt started.

With Chinese government assisting rescue teams in locating the plane even in their waters, Malaysian Airlines CEO Ahmad Jauhari Yahya issued a statement: “Our thoughts and prayers are with all affected passengers and crew and their family members.”

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said in Beijing: “We are extremely worried. We are doing all we can to get details. The news is very disturbing. We hope everyone on the plane is safe.” However, till the filing of this report, the plane’s disappearance continues to be a mystery.
