Metal Nokia Lumia 925 US release date in June: Specs, features & camera quality

It is old wine in new bottle, nonetheless Windows Phone 8 fans are going to love it. Metal Nokia Lumia 925 US release date is expected in June. Here we take a look at its specs, features and camera quality

Finally Nokia Lumia 925 has been showcased to a waiting and attentive world after the launch of another Nokia handset Lumia 928 a few days ago. Both the handsets come with almost similar specifications, but slight changes. The good thing with both the handsets is the fact that they come with very advanced cameras that make them look more like camera than a phone.

But to be true, many Nokia fans must be feeling disappointed as when the Finnish tech giant seems to have become proactive with its top-end Windows Phone 8 handsets, the company seems to be launching handsets that look pretty dated. They should have looked reasonably good, the time Nokia Lumia 920 was introduced in the market, but not in mid-2013 when we already have handset that come with FullHD displays, better processors, 2GB of RAM, 13 MP camera besides hosts of other futuristic features. Android seems to have got great deal of advantage over other operating systems including Windows Phone 8.

This seems to be the reason that Nokia investors pissed with the company for sticking with only WP8 and they are trying to impress upon the management to go for Android handsets too along with Windows Phone 8 OS.

But the new handset comes with some good camera features besides better and good looking body. In US the handset will be available on T-Mobile alone. Another handset recently launched in the US, Nokia Lumia 928 was launched exclusively on Verizon. In United States, the handset is expected to land next month.

As far as specifications are concerned, the latest Lumia 925 comes with 4.5 inch AMOLED, 1,280-by-768 display, 1.5-GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. When it comes to RAM, Lumia 925 comes with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage. Another good feature is its 7GB Microsoft SkyDrive cloud storage that comes free of cost.

Its camera comes with better camera capabilities than Lumia 920. Lumia 925 comes with PureView technology and 8.7-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, autofocus, LED flash, and Smart Camera mode. When it comes to battery the handset comes fitted with 2000 mAh battery.
