Medha Patkar quits AAP after Yogendra Yadav, Prashant Bhushan thrown out
New Delhi: One of the best known and very respected social activist Medha Patkar has resigned from Aam Aadmi Party (AAM) after Arvid Kejriwal led party threw out Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan from the National Executive of the nascent party.
Earlier the duo was also expelled from the partyâ€™s main decision-making forum PAC.
To be true the sort of confrontation and the language being used by the party leaders is very disappointing for the party loyalists and its volunteers who have been the backbone of AAP.
Medha Patkar who also contested Lok Sabha polls from a Mumbai seat while condemning the move to expel Yogendra Yadav who has been know as party ideologue and Prashant Bhushan, a top Supreme Court lawyer said she cannt take it sitting down. â€œCondemn what happened to Yogendra Yadav, Prashant Bhushan. They were treated unfairlyâ€ she said while announcing her resignation.
