Restaurants Open On Christmas Day 2015: What Stores Are Open On Christmas, Are Walmart, Target open?
It is holiday across much of the world including the USA. Most of the business establishments are closed for the entire day for Christmas.
Retailers including Walmart, Best Buy and many other leading retail chains are going to remain closed for much of Christmas Day. The same is true about restaurants.
Christmas Day is a recognized holiday by Federal Reserve and so all the banks are expected to remain closed today. A report by the Go Banking Rates says, â€œThe stock markets are closed on Christmas and traders wonâ€™t be able to do any business that day on the New York Stock Exchange or Nasdaq. But some restaurants, shops and movie theaters will open to capture consumers with limited optionsâ€.
Nonetheless many restaurants are going to be open for the day. You are advised to double-check their hours, because there are exceptions for some franchise locations.
A list compiled by GoBankingRates.com says following restaurants will remain open.
Applebee’s: Some locations open
Denny’s: Open all day
Dunkin’ Donuts: Many stores have regular hours, including some that are open all day.
Buca di Beppo: Opens 11 a.m.
IHOP: Call locations for hours
Panda Express: Call locations for hours
Rite Aid: Call locations for hours
Waffle House: Open all day
Walgreens/Duane Reade: Call locations for hours; store and photo departments are open but the pharmacies are closed.
7-Eleven: Open all day
In the meantime Walmart will remain closed for Christmas Day.
