Now Lava, an important and reliable smartphone maker has come out with a response of its own in the form of Lava Icon.

From the looks and feels the handset looks a flagship killer. And Indian smartphone fans who love great looking handsets are going to fall for it in droves given its specifications, features and low price.

It is among the best handsets in the price range and will compete very well against the likes of Honor 4X and the Redmi Note 4G and Yureka Yu besides others. The handset has great looks and has been crafted using a metallic construction.

lava iconWhen it comes to specifications the handset comes with 5-inch display and seems to have focused on making its camera exceptional. The handset is also very thin and comes with a glass finish on the back panel.

It has an impressive 5 mega pixel selfie camera in the front and it comes with an Omni Vision sensor, f/2.4 aperture, 4-element lens and a BSI-II sensor with blue glass filter that protects the sensitive image sensor against overexposure in the infrared wavelength range.

On the other hand its rear 13 MP camera is nothing short of mesmerizing. It comes loaded with dual-LED flash, a Sony EXMOR sensor with 5-element lens and a blue glass filter as well. The company says that the rear 13MP camera records Full HD (1080p) videos.

The company claims that its 2500mAh Li-Pol battery allows up to 20 hours of talk time on 2G and up to 9 hours of talktime on 3G. The handset has been priced at Rs 11,990.
