Lamar Odom recovery update: Khloe Kardashian husband may be sent to rehab pretty soon

Two and half months can be a long time in someone’s life. There is no denying the fact. A moment’s fault is all that takes to change the fate of someone for years to come.

Till some three months ago Lamar Odom was among respected NBA players who, many thought had still a few years of the game left. Nonetheless his tour to a brothel in Nevada completely changed his life for the worst.

He was under depression due to his ongoing divorce proceedings with his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian. He went to a legal brothel where he was introduced to herbal Viagra and he fell for it in huge quantity. The doctors who treated him said he must have consumed as many as ten herbal Viagra in a matter of three days. To be true this was not the only harmful substance he used. He allegedly regularly consumed cocaine during his stay at the brothel where he ran a massive bill of $79000.

There are reasons to believe that the recovery has been huge as recent reports have confirmed he recently ditched his walker and began walking on his own. Though he took only three step on his own there are reports that he will soon be transferred from the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood, California, to a nearby rehabilitation facility.

In the meantime a source told Us Weekly, “[Lamar Odom] gets better a little bit every day. He took a few steps without the walker. It’s very slow and he’s supposed to go to the rehab any day now.” Right now he is facing two major issues, memory loss and bowel issue. Lamar Odom “definitely has some memory loss,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. Another report by Huffington Post, adding that suggests that the former Lakers star “forgets a lot of people’s names — sometimes even his own.”
