Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom update: Will there be any reconciliation between the two
There is no hope of them getting back together now. As Lamar Odom struggles to stand and take a few steps on his own, his flamboyant wife is going ahead with her life sans him.
She seems to be enjoying every moment with James Harden, her current boyfriend. She has lost lots of weight and is basking in the glory of being called younger and more beautiful. There is no denying the fact that her new and more confident self is making her look all the more proud.
In the meantime Lamar Odomâ€™s recovery is not all that smooth. He is struggling and may take years to fully recover. Notwithstanding the fact that his cognitive and motor skills have recently shown signs of improvement, he is still a long way from taking care of himself in anyway.
Notwithstanding reports that Lamar Odom walked three steps all by himself, it was just three steps and nothing more. It was the first time Lamar was able to move at all without the aid of a walker or an assistant since October. He is also reportedly doing better in recognizing people.
In the meantime a report in the People magazine on Saturday revealed that Khloe Kardashian will be spending the holidays with Lamar which means Khloe won’t be present at her family’s annual Christmas celebrations. Khloe has undoubtedly kept her promise to continue her support for Lamar Odom every step of the way. In an interview with People in October she said, “There is a very long road ahead of [Lamar]. He has to walk that road by himself, and, most importantly, he has to want to walk that road. I will be there supporting him every step of the way.”
Ever since the tragedy with Odom in October, Kardashian has been at Lamar’s bedside for three-and-a-half months. But in November, she got busy promoting her new book Strong Looks Better Naked in San Diego. In an exclusive interview with The San Diego Union Tribune, Khloe said that it was her family who persuaded her to “get out of the hospital and just for an hour, go to the gym and do something that’s for you.”
