Jon English death being mourned by fans: cause of death post operative complications
Renowned singer and actor Jon English is no more. Latest reports suggest that the Australian actor was suffering from some post-operative issues and it ultimately caused his death. He was 66.
Reports suggest that the very talented singer and actor Jon English died after suffering an aortic aneurysm when he went a minor surgery. The news must be very shocking for many of his fans who were expecting him to get back to the acting.
Born in the year 1949 Jon English is known for his starring role in the 1978 Australian TV series Against the Wind â€“ he won the TV Week Logie Award for ‘Best New Talent in Australia’. He was also a very talented script writer and co-wrote and performed the score with Mario Millo (ex-Sebastian Hardie).
A statement released by his family said that the England born rock star died surrounded by family, including his four children Jessamin, Josephine, Jonnie and Julian.
His death is being mourned by his fans and colleagues. Rebecca Gibney in a Twitter condolence message said, “while Just heard the news about Jon English. So incredibly sad. All Together Now was one of the joys of my career. My love to his family”.
Deborah Hutton in a tweet condoled his death saying â€œJust heard the news about #jonenglish Incredibly sad. I was such a fan growing up. RIP Jon Tooâ€¦â€
On the other hand singer Marcia Hines released a statement saying she was “incredibly saddened” to hear of his passing: “He was truly a talented and gifted man. Our many tours together will always be with me. My sincere condolences go to Carmen, all of his children, family and friends. Rest in peace my friendâ€¦ Rest in peace.”
In a tribute Glenn A. Baker said there was “nothing about Jon that wasn’t overwhelming in some way”. “For a migrant kid from England who grew up around Cabramatta, he decided to take a bite out of life and he did it incredibly well and nothing was beyond him,” he said.
