iPhone 5se to come with iPhone 7 as images go viral: specs, release date rumors

Is Cupertino based tech giant set to come out with a smaller version of handset? If rumors and leaks doing the rounds on internet are to be believed the smartphone maker is set to launch another 4-inch iPhone version.

Does this mean Apple is going back to its basics? Steve Jobs had always opposed the launch of bigger smartphones and always abhorred the idea of huge display for mobile handsets. It was Tim Cook who eventually decided to launch bigger versions of iPhone making them as big as phblets like Samsung’s Galaxy Note and other such devices.

Latest reports suggest Apple is now preparing to come back with 4-incher handset in the form of iPhone 5se in the first half of this year. The handset’s pictures have already made their way to tech blogs.iphone 5c

A latest report in the 9 to 5 Mac, citing information from popular analyst, Mark Gunman has reported that the purported 4-inch iPhone will be launched with the moniker iPhone 5se and not as iPhone 6c as it was rumored previously. For the last several weeks the pictures are doing the rounds on internet forums.

Another report citing internal sources suggest that the smartphone will be coming with rounded edges.

Reports suggest that the Cupertino based tech giant is trying to revive a dead body. iPhone 5Se is expected to be an upgraded edition of the iPhone 5S that was released in 2013. Even though the alleged image appears to be genuine, there is no way to confirm whether the smartphone placed on the right side of the iPhone 5 is the iPhone 5se. The arrival of the iPhone 5se seems to be imminent as a leaked video of the small-sized iPhone had surfaced in the previous week.

Latest rumors suggest that the handset carries the codename of N69 and is expected to be powered by Apple A8 chipset. It will also feature the M8 motion co-processor. The very same chipset is available on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus that was released in 2014. Besides the handset will come with 8-megapixel rear and 1.2 MP front facing camera. I am not sure of the handset will attract many takers.
