Apple’s latest tablet iPad Mini 2 with Retina Display speculations are very high. Both tabs come with impeccable. New specs

More rumors about Apple products are spreading like wildfire. If iPhone 6 or iPhone 5S rumors were not enough, rumors suggest that Apple is already preparing the launch of the next generation iPad Mini with retina display and several new features. By the way the much anticipated and hot selling small Apple tablet was launched around two months ago, after years of speculations.

Though iPad Mini is one of the highest selling tablets in the market right now, there are indications that its demand would have been immensely higher than the existing version had it come out with Apple’s famed Retina display.

There are rumors suggesting that Apple’s second generation iPad mini will be updated with Retina Display. Apple’s has successfully marketed the terminology “Retina” – where screen resolution and pixel density is so high that naked eye unable to discern the individual pixels at a normal viewing distance.

The beautiful iPad mini is a smaller version of iPad. Users love this device and found this little giant very attractive. The sales data of iPad mini reveals the unprecedented performance in tablet market which made this device an industry standard for tablet computers. The company has not officially declared but the Taiwan-based backlighting industry sources revealed that Apple is going to advanced iPad mini by enhancing its screen resolution.

Statistics explain how many people liked iPad mini despite having the non-Retina screen. The sales figure touched such peaks because the device has beautifully balance non-retina display with its impressive dimensions and processing speed. It would be icing on the cake when the iPad mini gets enhanced screen. It would be awesome to experiencing videos on crystal clear Retina display on iPad mini 2.

Second possible reason for up-gradation of iPad mini could be to curb new excitement created by Google Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire. Over a period time Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire diverted the attention of people from iPad mini. Probably iPad mini 2 will strengthen its premium market segment.

The Apple’s iPad mini features 7.9-inch display with 1024 x 768 screen resolution of pixel density 163. If Apple doubles the display resolution in the iPad mini 2 to make it a Retina display, the display will have a 2058 x 1536 resolution at a more-pleasing density of 326 pixels per inch and this would be an exciting proposition.

However, experts comments that such screen will be very hard to make and it will be very expensive too. It seems difficult to cut cost by utilizing 4:3 screen with 1600 x 1200 resolution and to fuel such resolution requires large battery size. Also it would be incompatible with software for iPad with retina tablets. But, to support such resolution and ensure rapid performance Apple is using high-end application processor with advanced graphics – A6X SoC (System-on-a-chip) that is used in fourth generation iPad. Such chip will indistinct the difference between low-cost iPad mini and high-cost iPad 4.

If assuming rumors to be true then it sounds very pleasing to have such amazing device and the difference lies between iPad and iPad mini is in the screen size only.

According to the Chinese site Zol, they are not confirm the release date of iPad mini 2 but first quarter of 2013 mini 2 will make it presence in the tablet market.

This is smart move from Apple and surely the company would meet its targets as historically, Apple gave innovative technology at numerous times.
