Who said that West Indies had an average batting side and India had a great bowling side. Right now Indian bowlers including their star performer in the last few matches, Umesh Yadav has become a whipping boy of the Carribean team. Johnson Charles was hitting him for boundaries on almost every other ball.

To be true, despite their great performances including in the memorable match against Australia just prior to the start of the game, the Indian bowlers are largely inexperienced and this becomes very clear when the opposite side starts hitting them for four and sixes and starts scoring runs briskly. In such circumstances the team’s inexperience starts showing up on their performance.

India must be ruing the fact that why they didn’t chose to bat after winning the toss in today’s important match. But the team got a very major breakthrough in very beginning of the match as Chris Gayle was sent packing back to the pavilion by Ashwin Kumar. He was looking very dangerous and scored 21 runs off 18 balls in the beginning of the match. But Ashwin stopped this juggernaut.

Charles has faced 40 balls and has scored 42 runs while Bravo is playing at 14 after facing 31 balls. After 15 overs West Indies team was playing at 80 runs at the loss of one wicket.
