India vs Pakistan 2nd ODI cricket match has become very live. After 32 overs Pakistani score was 162 runs for the loss of two wickets

For Pakistani cricket fans, this was a dream start of a match. Pakistan didn’t lose a single wicket after losing the toss to India at historic Eden Garden till 23rd over when man in form Mohammad Hafeez played a scintillating inning and scored 72 runs before losing his wicket to Jadeja. Earlier Hafeez and Nasir Jamshed who had played another great inning in the first match by scoring a hundred came up with a great opening partnership of around 140 runs. Nasir Jamshed is still at the crease after scoring 71 runs off just 83 balls.

Earlier Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and asked Pakistani captain to bat. There was moisture at the pitch and so the Indian captain and his aides thought that the moisture wouldn’t allow Pakistani batsmen to score runs, more so, under so much pressure. There are around a hundred thousand spectators watching the match and rooting for the home side.

But even very helpful pitches need bowlers to exploit the condition and turn the tide in their and their team’s favour. But Ishant and Dinda failed miserably as they failed to put pressure on the young Pakistani side. But after Hafeez’s fall, Pakistan have already lost another wicket in the form of Azhar Ali and the run rate is falling now. Yunis Khan and Jamshed are at the crease and Indian team is trying to exert pressure on the visitors so they are not able to score a big total.

Indian team must be hoping to limit the hosts for less than 250 runs to be able to win the match easily. Anything more than 250 may be very difficult for the hosts to score given the fact that Pakistani bowling is in very good hands and Junaid, Umar Gul and Mohammad Irfan are looking in excellent form and will make life difficult at the crease.
