India vs England 3rd test might have gone horribly wrong for India but Sachin seems to have saved with his 67 runs. India’s score was 214 after the loss of four wicket

Sachin Tendulkar was being written off before the beginning of the third test match against England in the historic Eden Garden here in Kolkata. But the best cricketer of all times Tendulkar has shown his class once again by reviving the drowning Indian inning by beating the odds and playing a great inning.

At one point today India were four down for just 136 runs. But thanks to a very determined inning by Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar’s inning who is still at the crease India have crossed 200 run mark. He and Yuvraj Singh another very determined player have given a hope of the revival to the Indian cricket lovers.

Though the pitch is lifeless and doesn’t support bowlers, both fast and spinners, England bowlers ran in the Indian camp demolishing the top order with quite ease. Other than Gambhir who scored 60 runs, no one was able to play on a ground that was prepared for batsmen.

Gautam Gambhir  was taken care of by Panesar who had proved the biggest threat against India in the second test. Sehwag who was also looking very comfortable was judged run out at his individual score of 23 runs, while Cheteshwar Pujara was also bowled out by Panesar after scoring just 16 runs. Virat Kohli was bowled out by Anderson after scoring 6 runs. Right now Sachin is playing at 67 while Yuvraj Singh is playing at 31 runs and India’s score is 214 after losing four wickets.
