Immigration reform 2015: Lawyers protest at court before Obama executive order hearing

Immigration reform has got a large number of supporters across the USA. While Republicans may hate or despise it, they cannot change the fact.

An overwhelmingly large number of people are actually in favor of giving legal status to undocumented immigrants many of whom are staying in the US for decades.

Republicans on the other hand seem to have developed a sort of phobia against undocumented immigrants. This is the reason that they have been opposing it from every forum and have destroyed its chances of implementation.immigration impact us hiring

The way they went on to destroy the chance of President Barack Obama’s executive order issued in November last year shows that they are against everything remotely related to the welfare of long term undocumented immigrants.
President Obama’s executive plan had actually aimed at providing protections for children who were brought to the country illegally. It also extends protections for parents of children who were born here.

Now immigration activists and lawyers are keeping vigil at the 5th circuit court. They actually sang and chanted on the courthouse steps. It was a planned vigil ahead of Friday’s hearing.
An activist who travelled from California says, “Immigrants have always been part of this country…We are in the background doing the hard labor. We are just afraid that they are taking the parents away even though their kids are born here.”
