Huawei Honor 4C to take on Xiaomi, Lenovo handsets
Chinese smartphones may make short work of Samsung and LG in the coming days. After Xiaomi and OnePlus besides Lenovo, another Chinese tech giant has come out with a great handset.
Huawei Technologies has showcased a great but inexpensive handset. The company’s Honor 4C handset seems to be very competitive and is expected to do well not just in Chinese market, but in India, other east Asian nations besides of course in Europe.
The new Honor 4C handset is going to give a run for money to competitors like Xiaomi as it comes with 5-inch display, 13MP rear camera and other good specifications and features.
The company seems to be excited with the new product. Zhao and Alibaba vice president Jeff Zhang also said the smartphone launch coincided with a “new level” of corporate ties between the their two companies. They declined to give details. There is no denying the fact that within just two years after being formed by Huawei as a largely independent unit, Honor has released several budget smartphones which, like Xiaomi, it has sold almost exclusively online.
There is no denying the fact that despite being still far behind Xiaomi, it is still on track. Huawei said it had sold 20 million Honor handsets last year, almost all of them online.
