Finally after a rather very long wait, HTC One SV Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is coming shortly to your handset
Taiwanese tech giant HTC is in news for its next flagship handset HTC One. That seems the only product in their smart-phone section that is keeping HTC bosses and their staff busy. But there are apparently some other good news for millions of people who have been using HTC smart-phone that are already in the market. The good news for HTC One SV smart-phone users is the fact that the much awaited Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean is set to be launched for the handset within days.
The handset that comes with rather very good specifications and features was expected to get Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean weeks ago. But apparently HTC is not very fast in releasing firmware updates for its handsets and so the date was pushed back. But now thankfully the handset is also getting the update that will make the smart-phone all the more wanted by general consumers.
HTC One SV is a mid-range handset that comes with rather good features. The HTC phone comes with a 4.3-in Super LCD2 screen that has a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels at 217-ppi. The multitouch panel gets shield against scratches and mild falls with Corning Gorilla Glass 2. It is a good display size, anyway. It is a time most high-end handsets have 4 or higher inches display. So, customers will love to see a big display on a budget phone like the One SV.
As far as its processor is concerned, it comes A 1.2GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 CPU and 1GB RAM power the One SV. It is to come with a built-in memory of 8GB. But, you can expand storage capacity up to 32GB using external memory sticks in its microSD slot. So, even not being a behemoth in processing, the SV is a fair handset for budget conscious customers. Indeed, it has all essential connectivity options. There are options such as GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, HSUPA and LTE (in some markets) as network connectivity options. Further, the One SV has Wi-Fi, dual band, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and microUSB 2.0 for advanced connectivity features. Besides it has a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus and face detection.
Reports suggest that the OTA update besides updates Sense+ will b e a huge file of 378.71MB in size. Nonetheless HTC One SV users will certainly love the update.
