Gossips about a small HTC One mini release date are gaining further strength. Rumors think that HTC One Mini would make its way to stores in Q3 with a 4.3-inch display and other midrange specs in style of Galaxy S4 Mini, a small variant of Samsung’s Galaxy S4 flagship for 2013. Latest reports suggest the much-touted HTC One Mini would be realized in coming months.

There have been many similar reports that were mostly not credible. Now DigiTimes, a Taiwan-based gossip site, has brought up with the report that a small HTC One is under process, referring to some ‘Taiwan-based supply chain makers.’ DigiTimes has a tradition of making true forecasts in the past when it comes to gadgets.

The sources have also reported that the HTC One Mini would coincide with its possible major rival the Galaxy S4 Mini in release. The HTC phone will be coming to stores in the same timeframe the Galaxy S4 mini will make its entry. These devices may also get a big challenge from Apple, a possible low price iPhone, likely iPhone Light or iPhone Mini.

As per rumors, the HTC One Mini is likely to turn out with a 720p display apart from the 1080p FullHD display of its original. It is further to feature a set of midrange specs with not much solid processor and other innards.  But, the exterior design of the device will look nearly the same to HTC One with the same aluminum bodyshell and other aspects.

It is to get energy from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual core chip-based 1.4GHz dual core processor, which will be backed by 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The software onboard the handset would be Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, of course. There is also a claim that it might get the still not released Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box.
