It is very attractive handset for anyone hoping to get a midrange smart-phone. HTC Desire U has been launched with 4 inch display, 5 MP camera and $275 price tag

HTC Desire U is finally out in the market. It is one of the very good handsets launched in the market in recent months and people are certainly going to love this handset that despite not being very pricey is very attractive for common folks.

It has everything that people want to see in their handsets and is not costly. It is priced at around $275 in Taiwan without contract, making it look very hot for everyone who wants to get a good quality Android handset without astronomical pricing. For starters the handset comes with a reasonably good –thought not phablet sized – display of 4 inch and comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS out of the box.

To be true there is a huge market for Android handsets, especially for affordable handsets, that are not priced as high as Apple’s iPhone 5 or Samsung’s Galaxy S3 or huge sized phablets including Galaxy Note 2. For this segment, HTC Desire U is certainly very cool and the people are going to love this handset.

When it comes to features, the handset doesn’t lack them. The device is just 9.33 thick and it weighs at 119 grams. So users can carry around the phone as no burden at all. Camera wise, the HTC phone sports a 5MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash. It also has a front camera for video chatting. The machine is powered by a moderate 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM. 4GB internal memory is another point of attraction. You can also slot in external memory cards thanks to a built-in microSD slot. Power backup is provided by a 1,650mAh battery.
