‘How to be an Entrepreneur’: Experts opinion
Aligarh: The Training & Placement office (General), Aligarh Muslim University in association with National Small industries Corporation recently organized a workshop on â€œHow to be an Entrepreneur.”
Mr Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer (General) said that the aim of the workshop was to sensitize the students towards self-employment and Entrepreneurship and make them aware about the procedure to set-up their own business.
While welcoming the guests at AMUâ€™s Training and Placement Office, Mr Hameed said that the workshop will motivate students in knowing the procedures to start a business.
During his address, Mr Hameed spoke about the Government Schemes like â€˜PM Employment Generation Programmeâ€™ aimed at promoting entrepreneurship.
Ms Nalini, CGM, NSIC, Aligarh, apprised the students through power point presentation about the process and Procedure to start a business.
During her address, she pointed out to the efforts of NSIC in helping the young Entrepreneurs to set up their business firms.
Mr Praveen Sharma, an Alumnus of AMU and a successful businessperson, inspired the students by sharing his success story and challenges of becoming a successful businessman.
Mr Jabbar, Manager, NSIC highlighted the facilities offered by NSIC to the first generation Entrepreneurs in setting up business.
While MBA student, Ms Masoom Zehra conducted the programme, her batch mate, Ms Jaziba Haroon delivered the vote of thanks.
Ms. Nasreen Ahmad, Mr. Prakhar, Mr Altaf, Mr Shaud, Mr Atif and Mr Mughess helped the Training and Placement Office (General) in organizing the Workshop.
Meanwhile, the huge gathering of students attending the event appreciated the efforts of Training and Placement Office to enlighten the students about entrepreneurship. The students agreed that the event helped them to develop a spirit of self-employment.
