Nahan: In view of the commonwealth games 2010 the industrial houses are accepting a big market for their product promotion at international level. On the same lines the Himachal, Paonta Sahib based food processing industry and export house Himalaya International Private Limited (HIL) has decided to install 100 food carts in the national capital till the end of July 2010 with the capital investment of 10crorers. According to the information the management of the company decided to import 100 food carts from USA. â€œWe are first frozen food Company of the India, processing mushrooms, baby potatoes and buffalo cheese, said Chairman Manmohan Malik. He further said as a conscientious company, we recycle and reuse all by products and strongly practices power and fuel saving. The management of the Himalaya international has also started dialogue with Delhi government for allocating the points for installing the food carts. Although the other companies were also likely to installs similar carts but the Himalaya international has a strategy to show distinctive presence in the national capital during the commonwealth games 2010. The company has also decided to train 200 people who would serve in the food carts in hygienic manner. The management of the company also revealed that recently Delhi government has conducted the survey about the functioning of restaurants and hotels in which it was found that the eatables were not in the satisfactory conditions. Chairman of the Himalaya International Man Mohan Malik told NVO News the company was already exporting the eatables like mushroom, cheese and sweets etc & company is aware about the international standards for selling in hygienic manner. He also informed that real fruit yogurts breaded mushroom and breaded cheese etc would be the products of the company which would be available in the food carts during the games. Mr. Malik also said that the company decided to launch the food carts across the country but in the mean time decision was taken to launch the food carts of international standards before the games in Delhi. It is also worthwhile to mention here that the company was also in the contract farming in which more than 300 farmers of the Paonta sahib valley were associated with the company. Recently Himalaya international has also decided to purchase the strawberry from the local farmers in coming season to support them as farmers were facing problem in getting market. Mr. Man Mohan Malik also informed that the company is also planning to start online order facility as it was the demand of the time.
