Despite being in seventies, he has a very youthful spirit. He has been an icon for long and even at a ripe age of 72-years, the Hollywood actor seems to be in his best health.

This is the reason that despite a severe air accident he was still alright. He son said that though his father had banged badly, but he was doing alright.

His publicist said that despite some injuries the famed Hollywood actor of yore was fine. Ina Treciokas says, “Harrison was flying a WW2 vintage plane today which had engine trouble upon takeoff…He had no other choice but to make an emergency landing, which he did safely. He was banged up and is in the hospital receiving medical care. The injuries sustained are not life threatening, and he is expected to make a full recovery.”

The actor was reportedly flying a 1940s aircraft when it crashed during a forced landing on a golf course.

His son Ben Ford who was with his dad at his bedside in the hospital said that Harrison Ford was fine. In a tweet he said, “Dad is ok. Battered, but ok! He is every bit the man you would think he is. He is an incredibly strong man”.

Meanwhile talking about the incident Los Angeles Fire Department Assistant Chief Patrick Butler, told the media that the pilot of the aircraft suffered moderate trauma and was “alert and conscious” while being driven to the hospital. The two seater single-engine 1942 military plane went down on Penmar Golf Course near Santa Monica Airport.
