More and more reports are appearing in the media about the launch of Google Nexus X phone. Its specs include 1080p display and latest Android Key Lime Pie

Within months after the release of Google’s Nexus 4 by LG, grapevine is talking about its upgrade. To be called the Nexus X, the new member to the Nexus Android phone line is likely to be produced by Motorola, Google’s subsidiary thanks to its recent acquisition of the Libertyville phone vendor. In fact, Motorola XPhone has been in rumors for a while. But, as per new rumors, the new Nexus X won’t come with the direct branding of Motorola; instead it will be an exclusive Google phone.

“Google and Motorola are planning a device that will almost assuredly be competing against the likes of the iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC M7, Nexus 4 and offerings from companies like LG and Sony,” says GottaBeMobile. Well, if the rumor is right, the new Nexus phone will be made with enough features to compete with the upcoming line of high-end phones, better to call phablets. The whole line of modern day phones touts 1080p FullHD displays, high performance quad core CPUs, 2GB of RAM and 13MP rear cameras.

An Exclusive Google Phone: Apart from all previous Nexus phones, the new product will be an exclusive Google phone. There is nothing surprising if we get it even without Moto’s logo. Actually, Motorola is just a hardware unit of Google along with being an independent hardware maker. Google couldn’t sell LG, Samsung or HTC phones as exclusive ones. But, when Motorola builds a device, Google can present it as an exclusive one. “Instead of being a Motorola flagship, the X Phone may be known instead as the Google Nexus X, the most probable replacement for the Nexus 4 as Google’s next flagship handset,” says

Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie: Every new Nexus handset has debuted a new Android update in the past years. HTC Nexus One introduced Android 2.2 Froyo, Samsung Nexus S had Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Samsung Galaxy Nexus had Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and LG Nexus 4 brought us Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. This time, the new Motorola-made Nexus X will be premiering the much talked about Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie (KLP). The KLP has been in rumors for a while as the next major update of Android after Jelly Bean.

Great Innards: In order to put in a fight with the new line of FHD phablets, the new Nexus phone will certainly have a 5-inch FHD display. It is the new trend of the mobile industry. All major tech makers have already announced quality FHD handsets. Sony, Huawei, ZTE, HTC, Oppo, Sharp and Lenovo have already rolled out their models of 1080p handsets. Samsung’s next generation Galaxy S4 is also to have the same credentials.

Well, the new 1080p phones also show off super performance quad core processors, 2GB RAM and at least 13MP of rear cameras. There is no reason for us to think that the next Nexus phone will miss out all these things to get ignored by customers. Google and Motorola team will be working to make it a high-end machine with all sophisticated features of the time. It may thus have a better quad core CPU, 2GB of RAM and at least 13MP rear camera among other features.

Google’s move to get the Nexus phone designed by Motorola is a big threat for the firms like Samsung, HTC and LG. The current domineering players of the Android market have been well aware of such a move in future. It led Samsung to develop an own Tizen operating system, which the company would use in its devices in case Google starts to depend on Moto to produce Android handsets.

There is no chance for such a development, of course. As per its long standing motto, Google is not going to be an evil. But, its plan to get the next Nexus phone developed by Motorola is a big concern of the current Android product making firms.
