Google launches two Chromebooks: Xolo and Nexian Chromebooks @ Rs12999
Google has joined hands with Indian smartphone maker Xolo and Nexian and has come out with impressive looking Chromebooks. It must be accepted that both the Chromebooks look stunning.
It seems to be a great move by Xolo, an important smartphone maker from India that seems to be giving tough competition not just to another Indian company Micromax but international brands too.
Nexian is also another Indian company promoted by smartphone maker Spice and their attempt to enter a new market segment seems to have been hastened by increased competition in the market in India.
The two Chromebooks are going to be available from leading e-retailers including Snapdeal and Amazon beginning next week. To be true these are not the only Chromebooks that are coming to the Indian market, more from Asus and Samsung are set to arrive in the next few weeks.
As far as specifications are concerned, both the Chromebook are pretty the same. The two Chromebooks come with near identical specs. They have a 11.6-inch TFT display with 1366×768 pixel resolution, 1.8GHz Cortex A17 Rockchip quad core processor, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB internal storage that is expandable via SD card slot, 2 USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port and Bluetooth 4.0, powered by a 4200mAh battery. It also has a 1MP web cam.
