Germanwings Airbus A320 crash: One black box found
PARIS: French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said rescue teams had recovered the flight data recorder of an ill-fated German plane that crashed in southern France Tuesday.
“A black box that we found a few hours after the crash will immediately be examined to help the investigation move forward quickly,” Cazeneuve said in a statement to reporters.
The flight data recorder and the other black box, the cockpit voice recorder, should help investigators determine the circumstances behind the crash of the Airbus 320.
Earlier, French President Francois Hollande called the crash “a tragedy that has occurred on our land,” said that no survivors from the 148 passengers who were onboard the “GermanWings” Airbus A320.
For his part, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said ahead of parliament members that they cannot rule out any possibility on the crash.
