Game 2 results, highlights: Cavaliers stun Warriors in NBA Finals 2015, Lebron James outsmarts opponents

This was more exciting match even compared to the NBA Finals Game 1. Here fate changed hands in a matter of seconds and Cavaliers who were looking apprehensive about their own chances in the Game 2 came out with the flying colors. And this came amid drama in the last ten seconds or so.

Though the game vacillated from one side to the other, it were Cavaliers who finally came up on top after making many blunders throughout the game. They came back in the match very early and ended the first and second quarter in great fashion.

Notwithstanding the win today, the team is still not favorite to win the NBA Finals 2015. Five games remain and many people are expecting the Warriors to improve their game and win the title without much of a problem. But after making a comeback through this emphatic equalizer, Cavaliers have laid bare their intention of not giving an easy way to the Warriors.nba playoff 2015

Cavaliers are not playing with their full might. They are missing All-Star guard Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, one of the best forwards in the NBA. Notwithstanding their absence, the all powerful presence of LeBron James has proved that the team will force Golden State Warriors to work very hard for each win.

There is no denying the fact that like the Game 1, James delivered another memorable performance with game-highs in points (39), rebounds (16) and assists (11) – his fifth Finals triple-double and the 13th of his playoff career – and led the Cavaliers to a 95-93 overtime victory over the Warriors.

Cavaliers’ coach David Blatt while summing up his team’s state of the mind at the moment says, “All that writing off and underdog title and little chances, that’s a good thing…This team has nothing on their mind but trying to win the championship…And the fact that Kyrie went down, the fact that Kevin went down earlier has not changed our resolve in any way, has not caused us to look for some particular break or sympathy because it’s not coming. It hasn’t come to us all year. We’ve dealt with adversity from day one this year. These situations only make us stronger”.
