What is special with the XPS 12 is its flip-and-fold display that you can use to turn the Ultrabook to a tablet PC. Well, longer battery life, comfortable keyboard and touchpad will be other key features of the device. But, in spite of its flip-and-fold facility, the device is more an Ultrabook than a tablet PC. HP Envy TouchSmart Ultrabook 4t-1100: This is HP’s powerful member to the new line of Windows 8 ultrabooks. The device is known for its 14-inch display that features a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It is also a richly spec’ed Ultrabook that highlights an Intel Core i5 3317U CPU, that runs at 1.7GHz. This year, there will be a steep increase in sales of Windows 8 Ultrabook. As per various surveys, these high-end machines will be leading laptop markets this year, an IHS iSuppli report has revealed. “After a “bleak” first quarter and a “slow” first half overall, Windows 8-based ultrathin laptops will “help revive the market” later in the year, the market researcher said,” writes CNET.

It means that apart from traditional laptops and PCs, more people will buy Ultrabooks with Windows 8 this year. Indeed, it will be a great thing for the entire PC industry that faces critical threat from tablets and smartphones.
