European Under 21 football Championship latest update: German squad combination is clear

Though European Under 21 Championship 2015 is still more than a fortnight away, football fans not just in Europe, but across the world are feeling excited. This is due to the reason that many top soccer players from top teams will be competing in the tournament.

Many of these young football players who will be playing in the European Under 21 Championship are already household names in their respective countries and many parts of the world. This is due to the fact that they have already made it big and have been part of top soccer clubs in Europe and elsewhere.

In the meantime more details have come regarding the combination of one of the best soccer sides in the tournament, namely Germany. It has been confirmed beyond any iota of doubt that the Liverpool’s Emre Can, Arsenal’s Serge Gnabry and Barcelona’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen have finally found their names in Germany’s 28-man preliminary squad for the all important tournament.

Reports suggest that the country’s energetic under-21 coach Horst Hrubesch has himself selected the Premier League duo and Barca goalkeeper along with and 18 Bundesliga players for his squad, which is set to be reduced to 23 by June 7. These players are going to join the likes of Matthias Ginter, Hoffenheim attacker Kevin Volland as well as Schalke hopefuls Max Meyer and Leon Goretzka.

The coach while talking about the team composition right now says, “We have unbelievable talent in our squad”. The German soccer squad will start its training camp beginning June 2.

All the players except one will be part of the camp. Reports suggest that ter Stegen will join the team a few days later as he is playing in the Champions League final against Juventus on June 6. One of the most anticipated soccer tournaments this year, the 2015 European Championships will be held in the Czech Republic from June 17 through to June 30.
