Dubai’s AMU Alumni Forum gives scholarship to 40 students

ALIGARH: The Aligarh Muslim University Alumni Forum, Dubai, UAE has awarded cash scholarships of Rs. 2500 each to 40 meritorious students of AMU Schools. The award of scholarships was pronounced during a ceremony held in the office of the Alumni Affairs, Aligarh Muslim University recently.

Addressing on the occasion, AMU Pro-Vice Chancellor, Brig. S. Ahmad Ali congratulated the winners and urged them to set their future goals and work hard to achieve them.

Mr. Ateequr Rehman, Joint Secretary of AMU Alumni Forum, UAE, who was present as the guest of honour, assured to continue giving scholarships to bright students of the University.

Dr. Suhail Sabir, Chairman, Alumni Affairs Committee, who conducted the programme, thanked the donors for their philanthropic gesture. A number of teachers, parents and students attended the programme.
