Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 may not be the best choice as Redmi Note 4 launch nears
Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is all set to launch another great smartphone in the Indian market. The smartphone maker that has gone on to make a huge impact on the Indian market in the last two years seems to be working hard to strengthen its stranglehold on the Indian market.
The Redmi Note 3 has been a resounding success in the Indian market. Now the tech giant is working overtime to bring out its next generation smartphone here and now there are reasons to believe that it will be another massive success.
To be true, Xiaomi must be given the credit to change the face of Indian smartphone market. With the arrival of the Chinese smartphone maker, Indian smartphone mavens were able to get great handsets at very affordable raters. Nonetheless as many Chinese and other smartphone makers have also entered the same market full throttle things seem to have become rather difficult for Xiaomi.
While many people have been awaiting the arrival of Xiaomi Note 4 a report in the Gizmo China says the company will be launching a phone called the Redmi Pro instead of Redmi Note 4.
While it is still not clear if the report should be trusted in its entirety, it confirms that Xiaomi will indeed launch the Redmi Pro on July 27 in Beijing.
There are also reports that Xiaomi will also introduce its first laptop in the market. On the other hand benchmark website, Geekbench revealed detailed specs of Xiaomi Note Pro, when it comes to specs it is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Helio X25 processor coupled with 4GB RAM, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI. The Redmi Pro 4 also might carry a dual-camera module on the rear and carry an aggressive price tag of 1,000 Yuan (roughly $150 or Rs 10,000). At its price point, the Redmi Pro looks like a capable successor to the Redmi Note 3. So, is the Redmi Pro the Redmi Note 4 in disguise? We will have to wait and watch.
