Donald Trump for President 2016: On Tonight Show he was told “you dig yourself a hole sometimes”
Has he changed in the last few months after jumping in the White House 2016 race? He doesn’t seem to have mellowed down even a bit by any yardstick. He is still the one who sets the agenda for a debate and others continue to fall in his trap.
But there are some subtle changes in his behavior and the biggest change is that he has said and that too on a television show that he will apologize if he does wrong.
While speaking on Friday’s Tonight Show, the Republican frontrunner, Doland Trump, said that he will not hesitate to apologize if he does something wrong. Many people are going to confront him the way he behaved following the first Republican primary debate.
It didn’t take Donald Trump to compose himself and come out with a response. “I fully think apologizing is a great thing…But you have to be WRONG. … I will absolutely apologize sometime in the hopefully distant future if I’m ever wrongâ€, he went on to add in response as the audience applauded his response.
When asked about his planning and how he was beating his Republican challengers by many miles, the real estate mogul went on to add, “I think they want our country to be respected again…I think they feel that if I’m president, I will do some great things for our country, and we’re gonna be respected again…. There’s a movement going on, and it’s amazing to watch.â€
But one thing that almost everyone wants to tell him was told to him very nonchalantly by none other than the host. Fallon told him from point bland, “What’s refreshing…is, you’re off-the-cuff, you get yourself in a lot of trouble sometimes…I think you dig yourself a hole sometimes, a deep hole, and then instead of getting out of the hole, you just dig deeper. And if you keep digging, eventually you might come out in China and be the president of China.â€
