Denver expo shooting: 1 killed, 3 critical at Colorado Motorcycle Expo
Two biker gang fight has reportedly killed at least one person close to a motorcycle exposition in Denver. Reports coming out from the spot suggest that several people have been injured in the shooting that caused the death of one person. At least three people are in critical condition.
Reports also suggest motorcycle expo continued despite the incident of firing as police officials rushed to the spot where the gang war was being reported.
It was an all out fight between two biker gangs and a report by Denver Post suggests that at least two people had been shot and one stabbed during the incident at the National Western Complex, where the Colorado Motorcycle Expo was being held.
There were some confusion about the spot where shooting was reported. Initially it was said that the shooting happened close to Denver Coliseum. But later police spokesman Sonny Jackson cleared the air about confusion and beriefed the media about it.
A report by Denver Health said that as many as nine people have been sent to area hospitals. Out of the nine seven people were sent to Rocky Mountain Regional Trauma Center. Latest reports also suggest that three people are in critical condition. McVaney said the hospital was on lockdown. Officials would not elaborate on the purpose of the lockdown.
