Bowie who died merely four weeks ago on 10th January reportedly asked his wife to scatter his ashes in Bali. According to his wife it was wished “in accordance with the Buddhist rituals”.
Bowieâ€™s cremation was also not a huge occasion as funerals are usually done. Reports suggest his cremation was conducted without any fanfare and in the absence of even his closest friends or family members.
In the meantime details about David Bowie will have also appeared in the media. Details that were leaked to the media this past Friday suggest that London born singer, song writer and director left most of his estate to his two children and his widow, the supermodel Iman.
The will was filed in Manhattan, New York three weeks after his death. The 20-page document, filed under his legal name David Robert Jones said the estate was worth about $100 million, but didn’t break down the finances. It is now clear that the sing actually left his SoHo home he shared with Iman to her, and half of the rest of his worth.
His two sons reportedly got the rest of the fifty percent of his estate. Details suggest that his son Duncan Jones got 25 percent and his daughter Alexandria was given received 25 percent as well as his Ulster County mountain home.
The singer and actor didnâ€™t forget other people who served him for long. He reportedly left $2 million to his longtime personal assistant Corinne Schwab and left her shares he owned in a company called Oppossum Inc. He left $1 million to Marion Skene, Alexandria’s nanny. His net worth was more than $100 billion.
