Cristiano Ronaldo transfer rumors in 2013 are going viral. But reports suggest that Ronaldo’s agent has asked the star player to stay at Real Madrid

Jorge Mendes, agent of Cristiano Ronaldo, has asked the latter to stay at Real Madrid but for some other reason, let us check out what is the reason.

After this season, Ronaldo’s contract has about two years left for him at the Bernabeu. Due to this, the great Ronaldo is contemplating about leaving Spain and those interested are both French club PSG and his former club Manchester United in him.

Ronaldo’s friend and advisor has something else in store for him though. Mendes has told the 28-year-old that the best thing for him to do at the moment is staying at the Bernabeu for another year and then deciding which clubs to be with across Europe, it is Ronaldo we are talking about after all.

Something that will make the real difference is if coach Jose Mourinho is deciding to stay at Real Madrid beyond this season.

PSG is already targeting Mourinho and in the long term he is also known to prefer a move to replace Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.

Last week Old Trafford faithful had expressed immense affection for our very own Ronaldo and this man was touched indeed by what he felt. This feeling sustained itself even after the winger scored the goal that sent United crashing out of the Champions League.

Also there were no obvious reasons offered by real director Emilio Butragueno last week expressing affirmation about United’s chances of getting the 2008 World Player of the Year back.

He reportedly said, “Cristiano is under contract and we are very happy with him. We are delighted he is at Madrid because he is a fantastic professional and very ambitious in a positive way.”

He further added on Ronaldo’s contribution to the game that since the time Ronaldo became a part of the team, his contribution has been amazing, not only for the team but also for the club. He also stated that the club was lucky enough to have someone like Ronaldo playing for them, now, that is some words of appreciation Ronaldo, not everybody gets them.

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most celebrated footballers of the world presently, he is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a forward for Spanish La Liga club Real Madrid and who serves as captain of the Portuguese national team.

When he made a move from Machester United to Real Madrid, he became the most expensive footballers of the world. Apart from this Ronaldo is also one of the highest paid footballers and mints about €12 million per year. According to his contract his buyout clause is valued at €1 billion. Phew, some money involved in there. We told you it is Ronaldo we are talking about.

As a youth Ronaldo began his career as a player for Andorinha. Here he had played for about two years. Then he made a move to C.D, Nacional. In 2003 Ronaldo grabbed the attention of Manchester United and he was signed for £12.24 million.
