Confederations Cup 2013 has come to semifinal stage. The small teams like Tahiti have been shown the door. Some other rather good teams including Mexico, Japan and Nigeria too have been thrown out of the tourney and now only formidable teams have remained in the tournament.

Italy are set to face the most dangerous team of the tournament and anywhere else in the game of soccer, Spain. In its last match against Brazil, Italy tried its best to emerge the winner to avoid bumping into Spain in the semis. But the problem was the fact that Brazil, despite being far superior side than the Italy were also trying to avoid running into Spain so early in the game.

So if Italy hit two goals, the Brazilians managed four goals of their own against Italy. And now they will be facing Uruguay on 26th of this month. Spain are working hard to add the remaining most important tournament under FIFA in their pocket. They are already the winners of FIFA World Cup and Euro Cup and Confederations Cup 2013 is the only remaining trophy that they need to win before the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Right now Spain are in a terrific form. As expected by soccer fans across the world, they maintained their perfect record on Saturday by dispatching Nigeria 3-0. Though Nigeria played some good game in the second half but they failed to convert their attacks into goals and failed to use several good chances against world champions. They didn’t allow Nigeria to score even a single goal against them.

Brazil vs. Uruguay, 26th June, 8 p.m. UTC, 3 p.m. ET, Belo Horizonte
Spain vs. Italy, 27th June, 8 p.m. UTC, 3 p.m. ET, Fortaleza
