apr83.jpgShimla: Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister welcomed the Padam Vibhushan Awardee Dr. Sardar Anjum, who was on a short visit to Himachal Pradesh and honoured him with a shawl and traditional Himachali cap here today.
Chief Minister said that the contribution of Dr. Sardar Anjum in the field of script writing and lyrics was magnificent. He said that a number of feature films had been produced which were based on the stories and scripts written by Dr. Anjum while a large number of songs, especially gazals, had been enthralling the music lovers of the country. He said that Dr. Anjum was known for his writing with a difference and made his name in the Bollywood. He hoped that the upcoming script writers and lyricists would take inspiration from Dr. Anjum and toe his line of writing with a difference.
