Class XI Self Finance Scheme announced by AMU

ALIGARH: The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has introduced Self-Financing Scheme for admission to Class XI (Science/Commerce streams) with admissions commencing in the first week of September.

Professor Javaid Akhtar, Controller of Examinations said that 80% seats will be offered to eligible internal candidates while 20% are earmarked for external candidates through nomination by the Vice Chancellor at his discretion. He said that interested candidates may submit their applications in the Office of Deputy Controller (Admissions) on a plain paper with proper indication of admission roll number and special category (if any) latest by August 20.

Professor Akhtar said that the candidates who have already submitted their applications, need not apply again. Further, internal candidates are also not required to apply separately. No applications beyond the notified date shall be entertained, he added. He further said that detailed information can be obtained from the website www.amucontrollerexams.com.
