California KKK Stabbing Video Going Viral: Ku Klux Klan Attack Anti-Racism Rally
Another deadly attack has taken place in the US in the last few days. Though the background of the attack is different, it shows that such random attacks are becoming a norm in the US and haven’t remained an exception.
Latest reports suggest that several people have been badly injured in knife attack in scuffles between white supremacists and anti-racism demonstrators in California. Reports suggest that as many as 13 people have been arrested thus far for the knife attack.
Reports coming from California suggest that a number of white supremacists belonging to the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) group attacked anti-racism protesters. The attack took place during rival demonstrations, with several people stabbed and injured in scuffles. All three stabbing victims, including one suffering critical injuries, were part of a group that faced off with the rallying KKK members on Saturday in the city of Anaheim, police said.
Anti-racism activists who were part of the protest claim that white supremacists attacked the people who were protesting against the anti-racism protesters. “All hell broke loose,” said Brian Levin, director of California State University, San Bernardino’s Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism, who witnessed the violence. “I thought they were going to stomp these Klansmen to death.”
While talking about the development police spokesman Sergeant Daron Wyatt said “It appears six KKK people arrived and were immediately attacked by counter-protesters, which led to a counter-protester being stabbed”.
