Caitlyn Jenner latest news: Cait sued by Wolf-Milesi family for fatal car crash
Caitlyn Jenner might have changed his/her sex, but her past is not going to leave him in peace. The Olympic gold medalist was sued by a family that had suffered badly in traffic crash caused by the former athlete.
The road accident that was caused by Caitlyn Jenner in the month of February earlier this year proved fatal for the Wolf-Milesi family of Malibu. Reports at the time had suggested that the accident was caused when Jenner rear-ended her car and pushed it into oncoming traffic on the Pacific Coast Highway.
The case has been filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court for negligence. While pleading in the court the Wolf-Milesi family said that a sport utility vehicle driven by Peter Wolf-Milesi family struck a car driven by Kim Howe, killing her.
Several other members of the Wolf-Milesi received grievous injuries. Peter Wolf-Milesi also suffered serious wrist injuries and his one-month old son was unresponsive after the accident, according to the lawsuit. If that was not enough Wolf-Milesi’s wife also suffered serious injuries and still needs treatment.
The lawsuit while pleading in the court said, “The emotional effects of being involved in a collision that has taken the life of another has caused tremendous distress and suffering for the Wolf-Milesi familyâ€.
Things don’t seem very promising for the former athlete turned reality star. Sheriff’s investigators had earlier said that Jenner was actually traveling at an unsafe speed for the traffic conditions. Nonetheless prosecutors didn’t find the case fit enough to file a vehicular manslaughter charge against Jenner.
Immediately after the accident, Jenner in a press release said, “It is a devastating tragedy…I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them.â€
