Bobbi Kristina latest news: Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston’s daughter may still survive, doctor
Not much is coming out of her hospital room where she is recuperating for around one and half month. Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was found unconscious and unresponsive on January 31 and since then she has never actually regained her health or consciousness.
The 22-year old Bobbi Kristina White has been put on medically induced coma ever since she was taken to the hospital. Not much is known about her health except those rumors that her relatives seem to be wittingly or unwittingly sending out to the media.
Meanwhile her relatives are criticizing Dr Phill’s television show on which her boyfriend Nick Gordon talked against her father. Her father’s sister Leolah Brown indignantly went on Facebook recently and railed on the TV show for giving Gordon a platform, saying, “We have strong evidence of foul play. Until this investigation is completed by law enforcement, I would ask that you or anyone else not provide this individual a platform to spin this situation to his benefit.”
She went on to add, “If Nick Gordon does not have the courage to speak with my brother Bobby Brown and/or law enforcement about what happened the day my niece’s body was found in a bathtub, he does not deserve to have a platform to speak to anyone of your caliber until this investigation is concluded.â€
In the meantime doctors are near unanimous that her condition hasn’t changed even slightly. Dr. Sasan Yadegar, Neurosurgical Director with Dignity Health Northridge Hospital and Trauma Center recently told media that her condition remains the same. He went on to say, “In the best of circumstances, what happens with these patients is that you expect the first thing to return is some respiratory function, the second thing to return is their eyes may open. They may not follow commands but their eyes may open. The third thing is movement of the upper and lower extremities. That is not to commands, but due to some type of stimulus. And then slowly, and God willing, they start following some commands.â€
But there is some hope as Dr Yadegar says, “Once they start following commands, you commit them to a rehab center, which means they exercise the upper and lower extremities. Hopefully, they get the patient back up walking and sitting in a chair and then ultimately they work with them with the speech therapy to get them to talk again and understand the speech and learn how to get around and get by with their lives… learn how to feed themselves and so on and so forth. It can take up to two years to get all of those things done.â€
