Bobbi Kristina Brown latest update: Why she is being kept on life support, What does Bobby Brown wants?
The octogenarian head of the Houston family Cissy Houston has suffered many heartbreaks in the past. She lost her daughter Whitney Houston, renowned singer and actor some three years ago. And now at such an age when she needed to take rest, she has to take care of her brain dead granddaughter Bobbi Kristina Houston.
For the last three and half months, she has to keep vigil at the 22-year old girl’s hospital bed. For the first two months she kept almost round the clock vigil at her bedside. She must be suffering seeing her granddaughter in such a precarious condition.
In a latest interview Cissy Houston says that Bobbi Kristina Brown is actually “not progressing at allâ€.
Cissy went on to add, “She’s not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I’m ready for her…I have nothing to do with that. That’s His job. It’s His territory, you know? And I understand it.†Around a month ago too she had made pretty the same statement. And to be true nothing has changed as far as Whitney Houston daughter’s health is concerned
Since 31 January the 22-year old Bobbi Kristina Brown is struggling in different hospitals. Doctors at Emory University Hospital gave up after treating her for two months. She was later shifted to another rehab center where she is under treatment and getting physical therapy to keep her body in shape.
In a previous interview Cissy Houston said, “She’s the same…We’ve moved her now to a place for rehabilitation. There’s still not a great deal of hope. We’re praying.†But despite moving to a new hospital where she is under medication for around a month, nothing has changed and doctors have said she has suffered permanent brain loss that is incurable. Last week Bobby Brown and Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, Pat Houston, were named co-guardians by Dekalb County Probate Judge Jeryl Debra Rosh. The judge named attorney Bedelia Hargrove as conservator.
