Blood Donation Camp Gets Great Response

Aligarh: On the theme, ‘Your blood can do amazing things, if you lend it,’ the Aligarian Society, an NGO run by AMU students organized a Blood Donation Camp in the Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology premises.

Inaugurating the camp, Virendra Sisodia, Deputy Director, Agriculture, Government of Uttar Pradesh appreciated and lauded the efforts of the blood camp organizers. Sisodia assured his support to the organizers for their future programs.

President of the Society, Affan Ahmad pointed out that it is their sixth camp and so far around 120 units of blood has been collected at the camp.

Ahmad revealed that the preparation of Blood Directory is in full swing and will be soon published. He further thanked the JNMC Blood Bank for the valuable cooperation in organizing of the camp.

While Dr Smriti Prasad and Mr Suhail of JNMC Blood Bank played an active role in the camp, a large number of students including Mansoor Ilahi, Fahad, Rashad, Wajahat, Umani, Muntazar, Wasi, Roshan, Naved, Salman and Danish participated in making the camp successful.
