BlackBerry Leap to Launch in India at Rs. 21490: Paisa wasool
If you thought that BlackBerry is out of the industry, you were wrong. The company has a never say die spirit and it is going to continue its struggle to get back where it was, on top. But alas, the fight has become very long and the company hasn’t yet figured out as to how it can become relevant in the market.
In the meantime Ontario, Canada based smartphone maker has announced the launch of its newest mid-range handset Leap in the Indian market. If you were startled as to how fast it brought its wares to the Indian market you should realize that India is still the company’s best performing markets. Another market where it is doing very well is Indonesia.
The handset is value for money and may attract a large number of people. Priced at Rs 17,600, BlackBerry leap comes with rather good specifications and features.
When it comes to specs the handset comes with 5-inch (1280×720) display, 8-megapixel camera, and 16 GB of internal storage that is expandable upto 128GB through a microSD card. The phone was showcased during Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona early March. In a bid to remain relevant, the company has pivoted in the last year to focus much more on its software business and core strengths such as data security. However, the company has stressed it remains committed to its devices business.
