More and more reports are appearing about RIM’s next gen OS. Meanwhile BlackBerry 10 N-Series handset pictures have been leaked. Here are rumored features and specs

BlackBerry N-Series BB10 handset is making headlines across the world. The beautiful smart-phone from Research in Motion that seemed down and out sparks hope of the revival of the Ontario, Canada based company in the year 2013. On January 30th the company will launch its latest OS, BlackBerry 10 and expects to introduce at least two handsets before March 2013.

A report on N4BB comes with a few very clear photos of the new handset from the company that has seen its stocks touch the lowest in years, but has gone up somewhat thanks to some favourable advice from investment firms. N4BB has splashed some very clear photographs of QWERTY based N-Series handsets that clearly showcase a product that is simply superb, good looking and gives great indications that RIM is going to be back in the business in the months to come.

But the smart-phone market is evolving so fast that if BlackBerry delays the launch of the handsets beyond March or April, even diehard BlackBerry fans will be forced to migrate to other handsets that have everything good and give everything that Research in Motion promises its next generation handsets to be.

A report while talking about the next generation BlackBerry phones being called N-Series will be running on BlackBerry 10 OS when RIM showcases in before the end of next month. A report in Slashgear while talking about the leaked image says, “In the images, which come from an anonymous N4BB reader, we get up close and personal with what’s reportedly the BlackBerry X10. These images do a pretty good job of showing off the size of the screen as it relates to the full keyboard, and we have to say that it looks pretty cool”.

Meanwhile the rumors and leaks are helping RIM. The imminent release of the BB10 devices has perked up Blackberry stocks. The question is will the Blackberry 10 devices resurrect RIM’s fortunes, or is it already too late to make a difference? Bear in mind that the BB10 devices were originally scheduled for launch in the last quarter of 2012. News reports indicate that at least some of the major buyers of Blackberry devices, government contractors and such like are willing to give the BB10 a chance. One US federal agency at least is willing to wait for BB10 launch before it decides whether it should switch to a different platform. I am sure things are going to improve immensely in the months to come.
